Jack Wojcik, BFA Visual Arts, Animation, 2017

Jack graduated in 2017 with a Visual Arts BFA with concentration in Animation. Following graduation, Jack went to Norway on a Fulbright Fellowship to develop an interactive environment for The Viking Ship Museum in Oslo based on historical objects and excavations. He then landed in California for several years, working for Brilliant.org as a designer and interactive content producer and is now working remotely from Fort Collins, CO.

Vagenesis, BFA Acting, 2013

Vagenesis attended UMBC as Anderson Wells and graduated with their B.F.A. in acting in 2013. Before finding their career in drag, Anderson worked at D.C.’s Studio Acting Conservatory as an apprentice, then associate, then assistant, and eventually, manager. They also now serve as an instructor for the Conservatory. During the 10-year anniversary concert for UMBC’s Cleftomaniacs, Anderson performed as Vagenesis and has been doing drag professionally ever since. Known as “D.C.’s black bearded beauty,” Vagenesis has received several awards including Mx Moco Pride 2021 and National Bearded Empress 2022. Vagenesis is an activist, advocating for all styles of drag, queer people, and all people of color. She is the creator of Black Label — a showcase of black queer artistry — and promotes inclusive casting and representation in all of her shows. Anderson now works as the managing director for Constellation Theatre Company in Washington, D.C.
