CIRCA Programming Grant

Deadline: rolling

The Center for Innovation, Research, and Creativity in the Arts (CIRCA) offers grants up to $10,000 to support public facing programming initiated and organized by full-time UMBC Arts faculty (tenured, tenure-track, non-tenure track, lecturers). The proposed programming should occur within one year of acceptance. Proposals that emanate from faculty research and demonstrate benefit to more than one Department will be favored. CIRCA will assist with programming, scheduling, and promotion and will work with faculty to access and utilize the funds. Proposer(s) should discuss and receive approval from their Department Chair prior to applying for funding. Faculty from the same or different departments can collaborate on proposals as long as the lead faculty is in a UMBC Arts Department. Funds can be used to pay honoraria, travel, lodging, and other expenses related to the program. CIRCA must be listed as the funder in promotional materials.

Please note: only one grant per Department will be awarded per academic year.
